Marine Information

As one of Britain’s major container ports, the Port of Felixstowe offers Marine Services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, ensuring vessel arrivals and departures are carried out safely and efficiently for our customers.

As the Felixstowe dock and Railway Company, we are a Statutory and Competent Harbour Authority and are fully compliant with the requirements set out in the Port Marine Safety Code.

The Port Marine Safety Code serves to highlight the responsibilities that are allied to being a Harbour Authority and establishes a requirement for all Harbour Authorities to formalise their procedures.

To carry out these procedures we have a dedicated team of Marine Supervisors headed by our Port Master, who are responsible for delivery of all our Marine Services. The Marine Team can be contacted on 01394 604724 or by email at [email protected] or [email protected] .
